</style><span lang="dz-Tibt" class="Tibt">དགེ་ལེགས་ཕུ་</span>), auch <b>Gelaphu</b> und <b>Geylegphug</b>, ist mit 9858 Einwohnern<sup id="cite_ref-1" class="reference"><a href="#cite_note-1"><span class="cite-bracket">[</span>1<span class="cite-bracket">]</span></a></sup> die viertgrößte Stadt des <a href="Himalaya" title="Himalaya">Himalaya</a>-Staats <a href="Bhutan" title="Bhutan">Bhutan</a> und liegt im Distrikt <a href="Sarpang_(Distrikt)" title="Sarpang (Distrikt)">Sarpang</a> im Süden des Landes an der <a href="Indien" title="Indien">indischen</a> Grenze. Der Ort gilt als wichtiger Handels- und Transitknotenpunkt. Die Distrikthauptstadt <a href="Sarpang" title="Sarpang">Sarpang</a> befindet sich 30 km westlich.

</p><p>Hier soll Bhutans zweiter internationaler Flughafen entstehen, der <i>Gelephu International Airport</i>. Die Bauarbeiten haben im Juli 2025 mit vorbereitenden Erdarbeiten und der Landaufbereitung begonnen, wobei der Hauptbau der Landebahn und des Terminals im April 2026 folgen soll. Die Fertigstellung soll 2029 abgeschlossen sein.<sup id="cite_ref-2" class="reference"><a href="#cite_note-2"><span class="cite-bracket">[</span>2<span class="cite-bracket">]</span></a></sup><sup id="cite_ref-3" class="reference"><a href="#cite_note-3"><span class="cite-bracket">[</span>3<span class="cite-bracket">]</span></a></sup>
